Minor Skin Surgery

Minor skin surgery procedures are performed under local anaesthetic in the out-patient department at Spire Harpenden Hospital.

These include removal of skin cancers, benign moles, skin tags, cysts and diagnostic biopsies of rashes - where necessary. The particular risks and benefits of any procedure will be discussed fully with you before your minor operation date.

Dr Blackwell adheres to the BUPA schedule with respect to charging for minor procedures and will give you the relevant clinical code for your procedure when necessary.
